Buffy the Vampire Slayer (.72)
Sunday, April 17, 2011 at 3:02PM Buffy the Vampire Slayer was Joss Whedon's novel idea (Before it exploded onto the small screen and surged in popularity) about a teenage valley girl who inherits membership into a centuries-old clash between the forces of good and evil via a hairy mole, which she (for aesthetic purposes) had removed. She meets her watcher (Donald Sutherland) and he trains her for the impending battle with the vampires, commanded by Lothos (Rutger Hower). 90210's hunky heart-throb Luke Perry stars as Pike, a dirty scumbag who has a van (which I suspect he lives in). They meet, insults fly, innocent bystanders and vampires die, Buffy and Pike fall in love, yadda yadda yadda. The TV series this idea birthed was a lot better. Look for Paul Rubens (Peewee Herman) and David Arquette.
