To start with I was a Conan OBrien fan and I also had a strong dislike for Jimmy Fallon. As it turns out Late Night with Jimmy Fallon is actually good. He's been going for a couple years now and I've been surprised. On Saturday Night Live Fallon was awful, he wasn't funny and if he had any lines to read he couldn't get through them without laughing, and I don't wanna see any of his lamo movies either. As a host he is borderline too nice, but I gotta say it's refreshing to have someone always smiling and laughing and in general being... nice. The show has alot of skits, great announcer/sidekick, great games, the writers usually have great stuff, and a lot of attention aims at the Roots as the house band. There's a bit of a hipper edge than the other contenders and the show carries the previous Late Night tradition of having top notch indie music talent. Good all around entertainment, which is what a late night variety talk show should be. (.91)
