This falls short in that it's not as badass as Conan has the possibility to be and at the same time it is no better than the original Conan movie with Arnold. This is essentially an episode of Xena with better special effects, more gore, and worse acting. The dialogue is awful and the acting is horrible and the script is boring action movie barf. There are enough Conan elements in there to make it work but for every Conan fun fact they throw in they end up changing something else and nullify that authenticity. The only plus this movie really has is some pretty good gore special effects with noses and fingers chopped off, but yet again that is scratched clean by the television quality fight scenes. This would have been an awesome on going tv series if this was what it was, however this was a movie and it's weak. (.70)
