Usagi Drop (.92)

This is a josei manga/anime/drama about the trials and tribulations of a guy in his thirties raising a little girl. It's got great animation and great writing throughout. The art has a bit of that watercolor girlishness to it but it's appropriate with the story and isn't overpowering; if the art in the manga is too shoujo it works much better in the anime or just watch the live action and skip it all together. The pacing is great in the anime for adding to the realism and adds weight to the minor little events that take place. This is straight up interpersonal drama with a realistic bittersweetness tinging throughout it and it's not so girly that it would become an endurance test for those of us with balls. I would put the anime first, manga and live action a bit behind. (.92)
