New Vegas looks and plays just like Fallout 3, but there are some major differences between the two.  New Vegas adds some versatility that Fallout 3 just didn't have.  Even though you could run through the main storyline in less than 20 hours (some have done it in 2 hours), there are plenty of "extras" that will keep you busy for hours.  One thing that makes New Vegas different is the choices you are given in order to complete the game.  With four completely different endings the game will keep you playing for a long time and each playthrough brings a totally new expereince.  I am currently playing through a third time in order to wrap up some of the achievements.  Of course, this game has gotten a bum wrap because of all of the bugs, but now that they are mostly patched, the game is a blast.  I did find that some weird combinations would cause the game to freeze at randow times, so my advice would be to save early and save often.  Fallout: New Vegas is worth checking out.  (.80)
