Darksiders is one of those games that you just have to play.  It hit a perfect chord with me due to the blend of action, puzzles, and total badassness!  Those familar with these "God of War" type games will feel right at home with this one.  Vigil games definitely hit a home run with this one.  To come out with a completely new title admist all these damn sequels takes balls.  You play as War, one of the four horsemen of the apocalypse (which has unfortuantely come), and to keep most of the story secret, you are out for revenge and anyone getting in your way is toast.  You employ various weapons throughout your quest: some are all-out killing tools, whereas others will help you get to inaccessibel areas and do some pretty awesome things.  The gameplay is solid. The voice acting is some of the best to date and after you finish, you'll probably want to play it all over again.  This is a must buy.  Well worth the time.  Now I can't wait for Darksiders 2.  (.80)
