King's Quest (.80)

This is one of the early Sierra games that PC roleplaying nerds played. It's an adventure/puzzle story with little to no action but lots of stupid riddles. Games such as these would eventually evolve into full puzzle adventure games like Myst, in otherwords games that you either solve the puzzles and think you're smarter than everyone else or you don't want to give more than 2 minutes attention to so you get frustrated and go play a game with some action. King's Quest is also from an era that is the opposite of modern Final Fantasy games, there is a sense that anything could happen and you have complete control to do whatever you want. The downside is that while you can do most anything, in some cases only the most obscurely simple things will work. You'll spend days trying to figure out how to greet a character properly to get an item only to find that you had to move a boulder 3 screens over first. Annoying yet alluring. (.80)
