Crysis 2 (.87)

Crysis 2 is another first person shooter in a market pretty much saturated with first person shooters. I for one am a little tired of the same old same old with these games. I've played them all, but this game did not leave me disappointed in the least. Every aspect of this game is outstanding--great graphics, awesome sound, realistic AI, a pretty substantial single-player campaign (10+ hours), and one of the better multiplayer modes out there. Once you get used to the ins and outs of the Nanosuit, the game becomes a delicate balance of stealth, speed and power. The story follows a marine, nicknamed Alcatraz, after he dons the Nanosuit (courtesy of Prophet) and tries to save the world from an alien invasion. Some aspects of the story are a little confusing, but overall it's a fun campaign. I am currently playing through it again to get the collectibles and experience it one more time. The only reason why this game does not get an A rating in my book is because some of the multiplayer modes are locked and only available to higher level players. A great game all-around and worth checking out even if you did not play the first Crysis (there were only like a dozen people who had computers capable of playing it anyway!) Enjoy it. (.87)
